141:365 The Wine Buff

Neil, one of my lecturers, helping me out and posing for a shot from my graded unit.

Big update coming to my largeformat blog tomorrow.

140:365 The Waterfall

Really really happy with tonights shot.

I was feeling a bit down, stressing out with all the Graded Unit work i need to do by next week and asked Ross and McKillop if they fancied a wee trip out.. McKillop was away watching his nephew playing football so ended with just Ross and I.

We went down to Almondell and after splashing some fake blood about the place for Ross's graded unit we had a wee play with some water shots.

This is the first time i'm really happy with the result of the 10 stop filter...used my microfibre cloth over the top of the filters as a hood and it seemed to work grand.

2.5 minutes at f16 for this one.

139:365 The Badge

Utterly awful picture today of the MPP badge on the MPP Microtechnical MkVIII

better one tomorrow i promise.

138:365 The NED

Another shot for my Graded Unit ... this time Kyle being a NED but holding a bible :)

137:365 The Skipper v2

A remake of the last skipping one with Caron, i just wasn't 100% happy with the last ones so re-shot them today, both digitally for testing (image here) and on LF film.

Will nip into college tomorrow to do some scanning of the LF ones and fire them on the LF blog tomorrow.

136:365 The Pooch

another rubbish picture tonight this time our Pooch Buffy

135:365 Top Trumps

This is just a quick grab shot of the 5x4 slide's of Debbie's Mad Cow Hoovering.

using Lynns craft lightbox to view them.

The negs were processed this afternoon by Trumps of Edinburgh who are absolute stars and did the E6 process in under and hour and a half.

I love the look of the negs (even if Darren ran into shot on this one) and i reckon the colour print (will be scanning on Monday) will look outstanding...

134:365 Poetic Justice

Another couple of shots for my graded unit today, one with the completely nuts Ross Golden (will be on my LF blog tomorrow) and one with the stunning Anna.

Anna, who is also a photographer - you can see her work at http://www.annaturnbullphoto.com/ , and is the NQ class at college helped me out with the shot shown here.

Anna is a bit reader and loves poetry and it is a very precious book she is reading.

Flash was sat in the boot of the car to add effect.

133:365 The Ivory Flame

Today was something a bit different, this shot being of the lovely Ivoryflame (holly)

we went to the brickworks in pumpherston and managed to play about for a while with some lights and really love this shot.

it just has a lot of power for me..

132:365 Mad Cow

My mental sister-in law who agreed to do this shot for my college project, this is one of the digital testing shots, more to come from the B&W and COLOUR film shots over on my large format blog within the next few days.
